The best time for this safari is from November to August, with April and May offering particularly ideal conditions.

Day 1: Arrival and Tarangire National Park

• Morning:

  • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport.

  • Meet and greet by Bisibana Tours And Travel representative.

  • Transfer to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hours drive).

• Midday & Afternoon:

  • Enjoy a game drive in Tarangire National Park.

  • Famous for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, and many bird species.

  • Picnic lunch inside the park or at a lodge.

• Evening:

  • Check-in to your lodge or tented camp near Tarangire.

  • Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

• Morning:

  • Early breakfast and depart for Lake Manyara National Park (about 1.5-hour drive).

  • Morning game drive in Lake Manyara, famous for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, hippos, and large populations of baboons.

• Midday:

  • Lunch at a lodge or picnic area.

• Afternoon:

  • Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approx. 2-hour drive).

  • Visit the Ngorongoro crater rim for stunning views and brief exploration.

  • Optional visit to a Maasai village for cultural experience.

• Evening:

  • Check-in at lodge or camp on the crater rim or nearby.

  • Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

• Early Morning:

  • Early breakfast and descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.

  • Explore the crater floor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, rhinoceros).

  • Enjoy spectacular wildlife viewing with picnic lunch inside the crater.

• Afternoon:

  • Continue game drive until late afternoon.

  • Drive back up the crater rim.

• Evening:

  • Return to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Departure or Optional Visit to Arusha Town

• Morning:

  • After breakfast, transfer back to Arusha town (about 3 hours drive).

  • Optional stop at local markets or cultural centers.

• Midday:

  • Drop off at Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
